Building an Email Marketing List

Purchased lists can seem to be a shortcut to the process, but be forewarned, they aren't worthwhile most of the time. New Business Journal Site Design

The Washington and Baltimore Business Journals just launched new websites that they say will allow readers to delve deeper into the news. The objective of the redesign is to "provide readers with a constant stream of local news while also allowing them to view news nationally and by industry, and to do so seamlessly in a way that keep the audience engaged and rewarded," according to Jason Silverstein, VP of Product Development at owning-company ACBJ (American City Business Journals.) Take a look at the Washington site. We find it a nice improvement over the old site as well as over most other news websites. But we'd love to know what you think. Click here and tell us. Insight180 recently completed a logo and brochure for the Glen Mar Early Learning Center, in Ellicott City. What was most fun in preparing the brochure for this new center, which offers year round and school year programs with MSDE approved curriculum for infant through 5 year olds, was hanging out for a morning with some of the very cute, young clients during the photo shoot.
