Digital Marketing Coordinator

The full-time Digital Marketing Coordinator position is ideal for a self-motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a creative team and directly interacting with a variety of clients.  We’re looking for you to join our team in Ellicott City, Maryland (currently hybrid working model –yes, we will meet in person to work sometimes). In order for our employees to continue to work safely and productively, we are requiring that all of our team have the COVID-19 vaccination.

General Requirements

  • social media know-how: big-picture planning, daily management of content and ongoing analysis for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram, building audience and engagement
  • content marketing: writing, designing, scheduling and publishing social media content and newsletters, adhering to company and client brand style
  • communication: keeping detailed records of all of the above and clearly communicating with other team members
  • account management: you are the account liaison to three to five clients – managing outreach, responding to questions and meeting client project deadlines
  • digital reviews: audit client and competitor digital presence (websites and other digital assets) for SEO, usability and conversion opportunities
  • digital tools: using Google Analytics, Yoast and Google Webmaster Tools to improve website content and SEO
  • industry trends: actively monitoring, sharing and suggesting best practices and new strategies that are fun, interactive and impactful to our clientele
  • design: working closely with the design team to develop graphics for social media and newsletters
  • analysis: analyzing available metrics and suggesting enhancements for marketing initiatives
  • website: managing website page updates and supporting web maintenance
Necessary Skills
  • WordPress backend experience, and basic HTML coding skills

Education & Experience
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Writing/Design, Digital Communications or related field
  • One year professional experience in digital marketing preferred, or relevant internships in business environment
Pluses
  • InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator proficiency  (BIG PLUS!)
  • Search Engine Optimization, SEM, PPC/AdWords experience a plus
  • Experience with boosted social posts, paid social advertising and/or Google AdWords a plus
  • Video experience a plus
